Sharing life with them as another family member is really a privilege. Additionally, there are many positive reasons that pets can bring into human life, but something relevant is that thanks to them; some people can widely develop nice values such as patience, compassion, and the meaning of unconditional love.

Patience is a gold value that pets can generate. Who can resist of enjoying them even after a long day of work? It is really impossible! There is nothing more pleasurable than seeing the incredible acts of affection they show to make us understand that they do love us just like we love them. They are very expressive and lovely on their own way. Thus, enjoying their funny and gentle movements could be a perfect therapy and everything in that moment is converted into a magic and great moment full of patience. They make us smile, they make our days brighten. We are just so lucky to have them in our lives.

Another value is that our pets help us to grow the deepest feeling of compassion. Their lack of oral communication leads us to care more about them, more than we usually do for humans whose have the facility of expressing orally about their feelings such as pain, sadness, or just their happiness, but not our pets. In addition, their dependency from humans remains on their entire lives. Unfortunately, they have no way of being independent; on the contrary, we have to provide them everything that they need like food, clothing, toys, medical care, etc. As a result, this inability is what enhances our sense of compassion in order to protect them, making us better humans.

Nevertheless, the greatest feeling that pets inspired us is the true meaning of the unconditional love because they are unconditional. They are faithful and truly friends. They are always there for us at any time. They are always expressing love to us without any other interest different that our attention. They fill our lives with joy; and as result, between them and us is converted a strong bond based on a pure love forever, almost impossible to break.

In the other hand, what happens when our pets die? A deep sadness floods our lives by the departure of those special beings. How can it be possible that those adorable, naive and defenseless ones died? There are many questions in the air without much answer. There is just one, God’s will. Although, everything on those moments seems so difficult to overcome, we have no choice but to accept it. It is the supreme decision and there is nothing we can do more but begin guiding our way to God, so one day we can to re-unify with our loved ones again according to the promise that one day he made to us “That when we have been called by him, all living beings of his creation will go to share an eternal paradise forever.’ That will be the day when we will be back with our beloved pets.

Thus, I strongly believe that if God has called them, it is just to enjoy a better life in heaven. Now in my mind there is a beautiful picture imaging a wonderful world habited by good people, a lot of animals playing full of happiness, surrounded by big and thick waterfalls, colorful flowers and covered by a glowing rainbow. However, they will live in our hearts and memories forever, until the day of our eternity reunification. God bless them!
